The six-year-old has won 11 of his 15 race starts and has earned more than $1 million in prize money.
The 2012 Concorde Stakes will be Rain Affair’s first start of the spring carnival, where he will be looking to win his first ever Group 1 start.
Rain Affair has won multiple Group 2 titles, however, has never been able to secure a Group 1 win.
The five-year-old has won both of his recent barrier trials at Randwick Racecourse and appears in top form going into the 2012 Concorde Stakes.
Second favourite for the 2012 Concorde Stakes is presently Tiger Tees, who is paying $6 at bookmaker.com.au.
Tiger Tees has won eight of his 12 race starts and has earned more than $310,000 in prize money.
The Dubawi gelding will also be first up for the spring after placing eighth in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap in June last start.
Tiger Tees has also won his only barrier trial at Randwick on August 28, 2012.
Satin Shoes is third favourite for the 2012 Concorde Stakes at bookmaker.com.au paying $8.50, while the least backed runner is Upbeat at $61.
