The $125,000 Group Three Concorde Stakes (1100m) will light up Sydney’s Rosehill Racecourse next Saturday, and will boast some of the nation’s emerging sprinters.

The 2010 Concorde Stakes will provide the emerging Gerald Ryan-trained Hinchinbrook with his first-up spring jump come August 28.
The three-year-old was scheduled to target the $1 million Group One Golden Rose (1400m) on the same day, but due to missing a vital lead up race has been pulled.
Ryan may be disappointed with the turn of events but has pencilled in the $150,000 Group Two Stan Fox Stakes (1400m) before deciding on whether or not Hinchinbrook will jump in the $1 million Group One Caulfield Guineas (1600m) on October 9.
Also looking to start in the 2010 Concorde Stakes is the David Payne-trained Winter King.
The four-year-old won the Starlight Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill last weekend, and looks to use the Concorde Stakes jump as a stepping stone to the $500,000 Group One Manikato Stakes (1200m) on September 24.
It was a stunning run by the One Cool Cat gelding which defeated Centennial Park by a length-and-a-quarter to claim his maiden Stakes win.
The 2010 Concorde Stakes will be a thrilling race with the pre Starlight Stakes favourite and the ultimate race winner set to battle.
